Pumpkin Dog Cookie

I sure love Fall! Although, Arizona does not have a traditional “Fall”… Starbucks has Pumpkin Spice Lattes and really, isn’t that the same thing?! … I think so too! So in celebration of Fall, cooler-baking kind of weather, here’s a wonderful Pumpkin Cookie recipe that your pup is sure to go crazy for! I really love baking and I’m always looking for new recipes for my 4-legged family members. Here’s a fast, easy recipe from Doggy Dessert Chef. My dogs L O V E D these!

One of my pups sensitive stomach does not agree with wheat… so I love that these are wheat-free!

2 Cups White Rice Flour

1/2 Cup Peanut Butter (I also substituted with Bananas!)

1 Cup Pumpkin Puree

2 Eggs

1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

2 Teaspoon Parsley (optional – it helps with stinky breath)

  • Preheat the oven to 350. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. (You can also use foil be sure to lightly grease.)
  • In a large bowl mix all ingredients one at a time, kneading well after each addition.
  • Form dough into a ball and roll onto a floured surface 1/4 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutter of your choice.
  • Place cookie sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes. Cool and refrigerate.
